Our Story
Simple story. I have been a "car guy" since I won my hometown's first model car contest at age 10. When I went to my first drag race and smelled race gas and burning rubber at age 12, the die was cast. Being a renaissance man, I have more college degrees than I could ever use and have enjoyed a successful career as a counselor, mechanic, car dealer, race car driver, wedding officiant and of course, master detailer.
I began detailing as a teenager and have continued that passion throughout my life. OBX Auto Detailing moved back to OBX in 2008. My customer satisfaction rate is 99% with hundreds of Google 5 Star reviews. I love my job, enjoy making my customers happy and have little tolerance for anything less than the best!

We are the area's most thorough and experienced automotive detailers. We have over 60 years' experience and use only premium products and state of the art equipment. We do not offer mobile detailing as it would compromise our excellent work in unpredictable environmental conditions (blowing sand, wind, sea spray, direct sunlight). We are conveniently located at 5205 Winsor Place, Kitty Hawk NC 27949 and offer free pickup and delivery within our service range. We are also fully insured up to $100k.
