Maybe the local kid can do an adequate job, but with over 60 years of compulsive cleaning experience and a perfectionist’s attitude, OBX Auto Detailing can do it better. We do not just hit and miss or wax on / some wax off.
So what’s in it for you?
- Work is done at our shop to avoid scratches from blowing sand, salt spray and the negative effects of heat or cold on both washing and wax application. Don’t let someone wash or wax your car in bright sunlight.
- I only use only the highest quality products and tools.
- I am skilled at the use of both low and high speed buffers. and have state of the art equipment and techniques. I do not do engine cleaning. Too many vulnerable electronics!
- Extras: all types of paint correction such as acid rain removal, sap and tree mold rmoval, swirl removal, claying, tint removal, heavy duty compounding, and headlight lens restoration.

I promise you great results at a fair price. Detailing is not just "wax on, wax off." It is a highly skilled process requiring 5-7 hours of intense labor. Large trucks and SUVs are extra. Sorry, but I no longer have time for seriously neglected vehicles. And, yes, I will do motorhomes, but no boats. If you have a quality car, why not give it quality care?

MAXIMUM INCLUDES:
• Hand wash exterior with sap,bug and tar removal (major sap, tar and bug removal will cost more)
• Thoroughly dry the exterior applying ceramic wet wax as stage 1 protection
• Buffing of exterior with cleaner wax, synthetic sealant, or ceramic hybrid wax as stage 2 protection
• Final wipe down of exterior with Last Touch Detailer/final wax removal from crevices
• Clean windows inside and out
• Polish mirrors inside and out
• Clean tires and wheels. Extra dirty wheels will cost more. Apply matte finish tire coating. Wax wheels.
• Clean door and rear hatch or trunk jambs
• Clean gas fill door area
• Clean all vents, cup holders and storage bins
• Dust, vacuum, damp wipe, clean, and apply matte finish UV protectant to all interior vinyl, rubber plastic and leather surfaces
• Vacuum and spot clean upholstery. (Full shampooing is extra)
• Vacuum and spot clean all carpet. (Full shampooing is extra)
• Power wash and scrub vinyl floor mats
• Quick wipe and minor spot clean headliner. (Full shampooing is extra)
• Vacuum and spot clean door panels. (Full power scrubbing is extra)
• Apply deodorizer/sanitizer treatment to carpet and vents
• Power wash pickup truck bed
We suggest to repeat this MAXIMUM DETAILING EVERY 6 MONTHS to thoroughly
protect, preserve, and prettify your vehicle investment!
PLATINUM EXTERIOR UPGRADE ADD ON TO “MAXIMUM” INCLUDES:
• Additional coat of premium synthetic sealant or Ceramic Hybrid Wax
• 1 “Top Coat” of Synthetic spray wax for superior protection and gloss.
(Requires 2 day stay at our shop)
MAJOR DETAILING INCLUDES (FOR REGULAR MAXIMUM DETAILING CUSTOMERS ONLY):
• Hand wash exterior with very minor road tar removal
• Synthetic spray wax exterior
• Clean Windows inside and out
• Polish mirrors inside and out
• Clean tires and wheels. (Extra dirty wheels, excessive bug splatter and/or tar charged extra)
• Door hatch and trunk jambs and gas fill cleaned very lightly
• Vacuuming of top layer of carpet and mats in passenger compartment only, not trunk or hatch. Mats not removed. Rubber mats vacuumed, power washed if needed
• Light damp wiping of seats, dash, console, door panels. No stain removal.
• Apply matte finish protectant to tops of dash and door panels and seating surfaces
• Apply deodorizer treatment to carpet, cloth upholstery and vents
TOUCHUP (FOR REGULAR MAXIMUM DETAILING CUSTOMERS ONLY) INCLUDES:
• Hand wash exterior
• Clean Windows inside and out
• Polish mirrors inside and out
• Tire and wheels cleaned (Extra dirty or “complex” wheels cost extra)
• Wipe down and apply protectant to dashboard only
• Light vacuuming of carpet and mats in passenger compartment only

PRICING FOR ALL PACKAGES WILL BE QUOTED ASSUMING:
• NO scratch removal, paint correction, major road tar removal, complete interior shampoo, major stain removal, smell or mold remediation.
• All first time customers must have vehicle inspected in person in order to ensure an accurate quote.
• All first time customers with vehicles not professionally detailed within a year must begin with our MAXIMUM detailing to ensure satisfaction!
